1. Scope
This Privacy Policy sets out the general principles governing the processing of personal data obtained through the website at vicenzabeautylounge.com and in the course of the services provided by the Vicenza Beauty Lounge business. Detailed legal information on the processing of personal data is provided in the KVKK Information Notice; the use of cookies is addressed separately in the Cookie Policy.
2. Information we collect
Information we receive directly from you: your first and last name, your telephone number, your e-mail address, the service and time preference stated in your appointment request and, where necessary for the safety of the treatment, information on your skin sensitivity and allergies.
Information collected automatically: your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you visit, the time you spend on the site and the source from which you arrived at the site. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, subject to your explicit consent.
Our appointment form does not save anything to a database. The appointment form on the site does not save the information you enter on our server; it simply converts it into the text of a WhatsApp message, and you confirm the sending of the message yourself. From that point on, communication continues via WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
3. How we use information
- To create, schedule and remind you of your appointment
- To carry out the service you have requested safely
- To respond to your questions and complaints
- To measure and improve the quality of our services
- To send campaigns and announcements, only if you have given separate consent
- To fulfill our legal obligations
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling without your explicit consent.
4. Sharing and transfer
We do not sell, rent or transfer your information to third parties for marketing purposes. Sharing takes place only in the following cases and to the minimum extent necessary: the suppliers and infrastructure providers we work with to deliver the service; our accounting and financial advisory service provider; and where there is a legal obligation or a request from a competent public authority.
Due to website hosting, e-mail and messaging infrastructures, some data may be processed on servers located abroad. In this case, the conditions set out in Article 9 of Law No. 6698 are complied with.
5. Cookies
Cookies are used on our site for functionality, security and measurement purposes. Cookies other than strictly necessary cookies operate only with your consent, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. For details, please see our Cookie Policy page.
6. Data security
We apply administrative and technical measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss and misuse: site-wide SSL/TLS encryption, restriction of access to the administration panel to authorized persons, a strong password and access logging policy, and regular backups and updates. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
7. Retention periods
We retain your data only for as long as necessary. Appointment and communication records are kept for 2 years from the end of the service relationship, accounting and invoice records for 10 years as required by legislation, and security camera footage for a maximum of 30 days. When the period expires, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to request its correction, to request its deletion, to object to its processing and to withdraw the explicit consent you have given. How to exercise these rights is explained in detail in Sections 7 and 8 of the KVKK Information Notice.
9. Children’s privacy
Our services are not designed for persons under the age of eighteen. Guests who are minors are served only when accompanied by, and with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian. Procedures such as tattooing and permanent makeup are not performed on persons under eighteen under any circumstances. If we become aware that data belonging to a child has been obtained without our knowledge, that data is deleted without delay.
10. Third-party links
Our site may contain links to third-party platforms such as Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Maps. When you click on these links, the relevant platform’s own privacy policy applies; Vicenza is not responsible for the data practices of these platforms.
11. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated in line with changes in legislation and in our service processes. The current version is always published on this page, and the date of the update is indicated above.
