Cookies Policy
In this document we explain which cookies we use on our website, for what purpose, and how you can manage your preferences.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a website. Cookies enable the site to work properly, remember your preferences and help generate statistical information about how the site is used.
2. Which cookies do we use?
We group the cookies used on our site into three categories according to their function:
Strictly necessary cookies. These are required for the basic functions, security and session management of the site. The site does not work properly without these cookies; therefore they are not subject to consent. They are generated by the WordPress infrastructure and our content delivery/caching system.
Performance and statistics cookies. These allow us to measure anonymously which pages are viewed and how often, where visitors come to the site from and which sections attract interest. They operate only with your consent.
Marketing and targeting cookies. These may be used to measure ad impressions and to offer you more relevant content. They operate only with your consent; if you do not give consent, these cookies are not placed.
3. Third-party cookies
Third-party services embedded in our site, such as Google Maps, social media links and WhatsApp redirects, may place their own cookies. These cookies are subject to the privacy and cookie policies of the relevant provider; Vicenza has no control over these cookies.
- Google — map embedding and (if consent is given) statistical measurement
- Meta / Instagram / Facebook — social media links and embeds
- TikTok, Pinterest — social media links
- WhatsApp — messaging redirect
4. How can you manage your cookie preferences?
You can set your preferences from the cookie notice displayed on your first visit to the site, and you can withdraw the consent you have given at any time. In addition, all browsers offer the option to delete and block cookies:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site may not work properly.
5. Data processed through cookies and retention periods
Through cookies, your IP address, browser and device information and your on-site browsing behavior may be processed. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies are stored for a maximum of 12 months depending on their type and expire automatically at the end of that period.
This data is processed under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK); detailed information is provided in the KVKK Information Notice.
6. Changes
This policy may be updated in line with changes in the technologies used and in legislation. The current version is always published on this page, and the date of the update is indicated above. If you have any questions, please use our contact page to reach us.
